About me: Canadian singer-songwriter from Gatineau, Nessa draws her inspiration in the growing movement of Soul and R&B music. In order to find her own voice, she thoroughly studied divas like Aretha Franklin, Maria Carey and Whitney Houston. Throughout a difficult childhood, underlined by dramatic and disturbing events, she turned to music to express her feelings and her anger; and channelled her emotions to produce the album Burning Angel. Her first single Mine tonight entered the Canadian charts in 2007. Armed with an extraordinary determination and an uncommon ambition, she distinguished herself once again with her second single Just in case, which will be followed by My pressure. In 2009, she decided to work with Montreal producer, BillBoard, on What would you do, this last single immediately attracts media attention. She then decides to produce her first videoclip with SKP films and have it directed by Peezee. In 2009, the singer-songwriter joined forces with a few Canadian and American producers. Aware of the challenges she would have to face to perform in front of an increasingly important audience, she decides to collaborate with Do it right, Dru and Main et Rochester, all producers of Canadian elite. Nessa contributes to the growth of a few artists, in particular the Canadians Un Étrange and Rochester, as well as the Americans Brisco and Yellow Cake, all belonging to the new urban class of the next generation of talented artist. In 2009, Nessa got involved in the fight against HIV/AIDS among young people and joined forces with the Farha Foundation. She is also involved with Alicia Keyss Foundation; Keep A Child alive, who helps disadvantaged children around the world. En 2009, pour lutter contre la pandémie de sida se répandant chez les jeunes, Nessa décide de joindre ses forces à celle de la fondation canadienne Farha (Association pour la lutte contre le sida). Elle sallie en outre à la fondation de la célèbre Alicia Keys, Keep A Child Alive, cette dernière vient en aide aux enfants défavorisés à travers le monde.
